EXPLORATION DAY AT MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY: JUNE 16 - 20

33rd Annual Canal Run from McLain State Park to Hancock Citizen Bank Building
Walk starts at 7 AM; run starts at 8 AM. Cost is $23 and participant must be registered by July 16, 2008. For more information contact Canal Run Coordinator at 487-6211 or 487-6317.

C3 Crew - WANTED: 16 YOUTH, GRADES 9-12, FOR ROWING GROUP
Keweenaw Memorial Fitness Center will have tryouts in early May. Students will have participated in the training and rowing for the annual North American Rowing Challenge (NARC)from March 15th through April 15th. KMMC is looking for motivated youth willing to dedicate time and energy to an awesome experience... first come, first served! is for indoor skateboarding and located above the Dee Stadium at 700 E. Lake Shore Drive in Houghton. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4:00 - 10:00 PM and Saturdays 2:00 - 9:00 PM; $4 Daily

    This organization is dedicated to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. Specific volunteer opportunities include serving refreshments at birthday parties and matinee movies, delivering food, and visiting with neighbors.
