Simon Johnson
|
| |
Simon
is a senior honor student at Houghton High
School. He participates in SADD, Junior
Statesmen of America, is a student leader in
Campus Life, performs in school plays with the
drama club and sings with the choir. He has also
participated in Model UN and the Rotary
sponsored Interact which focuses on the
positives of cultural diversity. Quick with a
smile and friendly attitude, he's got a great
sense of humor combined with a willingness to
help others. Simon is active in his church and
last summer volunteered for the Youthworks!
mission to Brooklyn, NY. He effectively manages
his time between school, church activities and a
job. Simon plans to attend Pacific Lutheran
University in Tacoma, Washington to study philosophy.
Simon's anti-drug is the fact that he has no
reason to try drugs. He's perfectly happy with
his life and can't imagine drugs adding anything
positive. With his determination, motivation and
caring personality, Simon is an outstanding role
model for other students and a phenomenal CC
Teen. |
