Katie Miller

Katie is a freshman at Lake Linden-Hubbell High School where she is an honor student who participates in the band and volleyball. She’s extremely active through community and church activities. She volunteers at the CC Humane Society, babysits for neighbors, attends a weekly youth group at her church and spent part of last July on a mission trip to Alaska. She was a counselor for a group of girls, helped with crafts, singing and life guarding. Katie also helped some vacationing neighbors by daily watering their greenhouse and taking care of their horses.

Her horses are Katie’s source of healthy choices. She has worked to be able to buy her own horse and train him to be ridden by others. Katie sets an amazing example of reaching goals for other youth and is a remarkable CC Teen.
