Jeanne Tehako

 
Nominated by Heather Grentz, Counselor:
"Jeanne Tehako has been an outstanding leader for our high school. Jeanne is the senior class president and student council president. She also participates in Youth in Government, SADD, basketball, track, figure skating, cross country, National Honor Society, prom committee, High 5 mentoring, and the local church youth group. With all the school extracurricular activities that Jeanne is involved with, she also works. Jeanne is focused in her classes and can balance numerous responsibilities."

School activities: National Honor Society, basketball, figure skating, track, cross country, Prom Committee, Student Council (President), class president, Youth in Government, High Five Mentoring, boys’ basketball statistician, and SADD; involved with Catholic church youth group, was Pelkie Fair Queen candidate, and was named Spirit Week Queen.

Hobbies: basketball, reading, biology, running, walking, going to the beach, and skiing.

Significant accomplishments: being able to maintain so many positions in groups while also keeping good grades; likes knowing she’s a very responsible person; worked extremely hard to earn an Honorable Mention for Varsity basketball this year.

Future plans: plans to attend Michigan Tech to major in biological sciences with the hopes of eventually entering medical school at Michigan State.
